Open source projects by CJP

Motivation: from developers to developers

During the course of our software development projects, the CJP Team came across a number of unresolved and commonly encountered problems. As we rely on a number of excellent open source technologies in our day-to-day work, we wanted to contribute something back to the community. So, in an effort to make everyone's lives easier, we decided to share some of the best solutions we've come up with as open source software.

Before we contribute something to the open source community, we prefer to develop it internally to a level which can then be easily used and adopted by other developers. The list on this site represents those which have reached the maturity we expect from an open source project.

Overview of projects

  • TimeBoss - a lightweight rich-client application to track working time and activities (update coming soon)
  • rTemplate - simple yet high performance code generation based on light-weight templates, with full Eclipse IDE support
  • CoolRMI - high performance remote method invocation technology for Java and OSGi
  • EMFCollab - light-weight collaborative model editing technology for EMF

Availability

We are currently in the process of making the online appearance of our open source projects uniform. We expect to have a consolidated, generally accessible web portal ready by the end of June 2010. Until then, feel free to contact us.
